BEAUTIFUL STREET
Stroll through the medieval Agen through this assembly of narrow streets framed by very well restored historical houses.
A circuit of small streets with old half-timbered and corbelled houses, nicely restored: here is a beautiful stroll in the historical Agen! The corbels, i.e. the surface of the first floor narrower than that of the floors, allowed the passage of carts. The facades and roofs have been listed as Historic Monuments since 1993. To see among other things, a singular corner porch in the shape of a boat's bow allowing the carts to turn. For a little, the Middle Ages would come back to life before your eyes.
