In the covered market, the needle on the gourmet barometer was already pointing to fine weather. With Vincent Barral's delicatessen, it now points to sunshine. As you'll have guessed from the store's name, prunes and their by-products take pride of place among the sweet treats on offer (dried fruit, brandies, cookies). What they all have in common is that they come from local producers (such as "Les Simonettes" in Agen), and are of the highest quality in terms of taste. The chocolate-covered semi-cooked prune is a real winner. The icing on the cake is Vincent's smile.
