Chocolatier, patissier and ice-cream maker Michel Labat is based in Valence d'Agen. His store in downtown Agen showcases some of his specialities, including macaroons in traditional and exotic flavours. Passion, rose, caramel crêpe dentelle, blackcurrant and violet are just some of the flavors that delight customers. Also on offer is the Fagot: an original creation set on a dark chocolate plaque and made up of 11 bars of flavored ganache surrounded by a hoop of dark and milk chocolate. Truffles, palets, mendiants, languettes and feuilletines are deliciously crunchy.
