A legendary address in Millau offering creative cuisine using market produce and products from small local producers.
It was on this lively square that Antony and Aurélien took over this establishment in 2023, to raise the standard of the legendary Braconne address. Umami's creative cuisine is based on market produce and small-scale local producers, and includes daily specials, appetizers and mignardises, such as Ségala veal from the Lariès farm with baby vegetables, and filet de St-Pierre snaké with lime sauce vierge. For dessert, the chocolate ginger macaron with passion fruit coulis or the citrus pavlova are equally successful.

La nourriture était très intéressante et savoureuse, ce à quoi nous ne nous attendions pas dans une si petite ville, et le service était incroyable, très sympathique, heureux et arrangeant.
Le prix est très raisonnable pour ce que c'est et les petites attentions sont parfaites. Une véritable expérience gastronomique pour une fraction du prix.
Tout est très frais et inventif. Ce serait formidable d'y retourner et d'essayer un autre plat.

We had this place recommended to us by the person in our hotel and it was such a great little hidden gem.
The food was very interesting and flavoursome, something we wouldn’t have expected from such a small town, and the service was amazing, so friendly and happy and accommodating.
The price is very reasonable for what you get and the little touches are perfect. A real fine dining experience for a fraction of a the price.
Everything is very fresh and inventive. It would be great to go back and try another dish.
