TANNERIE PECHDO
The history of the Pechdo tannery began in the early 1900s on the banks of the Tarn. Caroline Krug's Milan-based company, which is the only, if not the last in Europe, to work on bovine flanks (rustic but solid skins, which it transforms into soft leathers in various colours and finishes), has been following the path of innovation for many years now. The Pechdo tannery has thus developed bold tanning processes, which allow it to be a reference on the market of professional gloves for industry, sport, law enforcement, administrations... Fireproof, water-resistant, siliconized (to protect electricians from fire arcs), and now washable! Twenty years ago, the company labelled Patrimoine Vivant invented washable sheep leather. She made the buzz this year with the first cattle leather that goes through the machine. A feat that has already seduced the big names in fashion.
