The spit cake is one of the best specialties of Aveyron! Maison Alibert makes you discover this authentic traditional pastry. Each cake is unique, with its own weight, its own shape and its own cooking because it is made by hand: the dough is poured by hand, layer by layer, on the rotating mold in front of the wood fire, for several hours. Don't hesitate to stop by the store for a free tour of the factory and a tasting!

Nous y sommes passés de manière impromptue hier, car nous connaissions le gâteau du côté des Pyrénées. Un superbe accueil, une explication sur les traditions, origines et notions identitaires, et dégustation. Nous n’avons absolument pas regretté de s’être arrêtés, et avons savouré chaque instant de cette visite.

Une belle rencontre au marché de Noël du Barcarès , un savoir faire artisanal , des personnes très très sympathiques et des gâteaux à la broche de la Maison Alibert délicieux ???? nous avons choisi un gâteau à la vanille , je vous le conseille ????

Petits moments d'authenticité... Visite des lieux de la fabrication des gâteaux à la broche. Récit du Maître sur l'histoire et la conception des gâteaux tout en œuvrant devant son four à bois.
Mais bien sûr, les fantastiques gâteaux à la broche sont bien les meilleurs que tout ce que l'on peut trouver ailleurs... Mes préférés : Rhum/Amandes, il existe aussi Vanille et un autre parfum dont je ne me souviens plus...
