THE HOSPITAL COMMANDERY OF LUGAN
Go there and contact
Commanderie was once a church, then a religious school for girls, and is now a home for the elderly.
Built by the Order of the Hospitallers of St. John of Jerusalem, now the Order of Malta, this commandery has long retained its hospitable vocation, housing a home for the elderly. It comprises a square fortified house, four round towers, three of which have been fortified, a chapel and communal areas. The commandery church dates from the Romanesque period and is listed in the supplementary inventory of historic monuments.
