The collections of this branch of the Rouergue Museum are based on excavations carried out throughout the department. In the successive showcases, one can admire the tools and objects of daily life of the last hunter-gatherers and the pioneers of prehistoric agriculture. The Gallic period is illustrated by documents and fragments of mosaics and Gallo-Roman statues from the Gallo-Roman villas of Rodelle and Agentelle.
