JOINDRE L'UTILE AU LAVABLE
Sabine Ehrhardt, off-road seamstress - medieval costumes, ready-to-wear, accessories and wedding dresses! -has just launched a new activity. The young woman, who handles fabrics, scissors and sewing machines all day long, has decided to use her common sense and ethics to create reusable textiles. Called Joining the useful to the washable, this eco-responsible range currently includes a birth kit, i.e. a set of sixteen washable wipes - one fleece face, the other fleece face - to take care of babies' buttocks. They are accompanied by a dispenser, a waterproof fabric bag and a zipped bag to prevent them from spreading in the washing machine. Sabine Ehrhardt, who cuts her creations with lasers in the FabLab of the Ruthenian MJC, only uses organic cloths - cotton, bamboo or linen - or OkéoTex labelled (respectful of the skin of adults and infants). The seamstress also offers make-up removal cottons, and soon breastfeeding pads, as well as sanitary towels.
