This church was built at the request of Dominican inquisitors.
This 13th century church is a very sober construction which adopted the Languedoc Gothic style in its early stages, and whose proportions are monumental. It was built at the request of the Dominican inquisitors. The porch dates from the 19th century. The single nave, wide and high, was adapted to preaching, public meetings and the reception of pilgrims. The latter received hospitality in the Saint-Jacques inn, located opposite the church.
