Fromagerie Les Artisous is a cooperative of ewe breeders from Lévézou and Larzac, committed to the production of organic raw-milk ewe's milk cheeses. It all began with Jeannine Massebiau, a Larzac shepherdess who wanted to restore the traditional Pérail cheese to its former glory. Today, the cheese dairy perpetuates this ancestral know-how by offering authentic, tasty cheeses. Try their speciality, La Flaune de Jeannine, a traditional Aveyron dessert made with ewe's milk curds and orange blossom.
