The cloister is accessed via a small open-air staircase leading to a courtyard.

The cloister is reached by a small open-air staircase, leading to a courtyard in the middle of which stands an enormous green serpentine pool. Of the Romanesque cloister, which was on the same site, there is not much left. At most, a few capitals are preserved in the Dr. Fau Museum. To reach the wing in which the treasure is displayed, you have to go through a corridor lined with arcades, which was the former refectory of the Benedictine monks.
