Chestnuts and cider are served on the Place des Arcades during a convivial day of entertainment by folk groups.
Created in the 60s, this festival is a highlight in the life of the Bastide, determined to preserve its traditions. Each year, at the end of October, the logs are set up on the Place des Arcades, to roast an average of 800 kg of chestnuts. The tasting is done with a glass of sweet cider in hand (more than 1,000 liters are swallowed over the course of the day) and to live music. Folk groups enliven the day, which also features an artisan market.
