On the Laussac peninsula, described as the most romantic spot in Aveyron, Daniel Tarrisse's Chalet du Lac sets the table every day in season, serving its customers charcuterie, tarte à la tome, aligot, local meat and ice cream from the farm. It's a way for this native of the region, who moved to Paris for a while to work in the lemonade industry, to stay involved in his region. Needless to say, the plates are more than generous.
