CAMPING LE MURET

In the heart of the gorges of Aveyron, between valon, hills and drowned forests, is nestled this  rural enclave crossed by a small winding rivers. Lovers of good positions, of culture and history, it is a perfect place from which to start your sightseeing in the region. A warm welcome and hospitality of Annette and Alain Larroque come only to complete the picture. Offering 40 spacious, shaded, flat and lawn locations, with a constant supervision, lighting at night and an electrical connections of 16A, the campsite has 4 mobile homes for rent, as well as 4 tents called "De Waard" (for 4 to 6 people). The "Bistro du Muret", located on the site, offers quality cuisine, gourmet and copious. Everything is home cooked and local produce supplied by local producers. You can, depending on the season and the arrivals, enjoy fish, grilled meat, or many specialties such as fatty duck, Segala veal, Lamb of Aveyron, foie gras, cassoulet etc... The chef will decorate with vegetables and herbs from the garden. The bistro offers a pleasant view of the lake. And if to laze about in a tent right in the heart of Aveyron landscapes were not enough, a large number of activities are available around the site; horseback riding, golf, walking, mountain biking and cycle touring, canoeing and kayaking and rafting, fishing... Between relaxation, swimming and physical-activities, there is something for everyone.
