LA PITCHOULI
This lovely restaurant takes its name from the Basque River between Spanish and French borders. A beautiful terrace, a room with the colours and Basque paintings, the place is very charming. For 7 years, Vladimir and Catherine have offered «combinados» or «bruschettas», as they are called to the Basque countries. It is a complete and greedy formula: of a of duck magret with herbs and honey, gizzards, piperade, sheep cheese and black cherry jam for example. They are sometimes déclinent to fish, sometimes to the aveyron or Basque cheeses. More traditional dishes are well worth the detour like Basque veau steak steak, nachos, with a slice of ham, grated sheep cheese and piperade. The beef stem is also found in whisky, and in dessert, the Basque cake or profiteroles. The desserts are home. All the products are of very good quality and the plates are beautiful and generous. A veritable Basque enclave in Saint-Affrique attended by many people. As well as burgers, bruschettas and desserts now take place at home.
