A stone's throw from the Collegiate Church, in the heart of the city, the interior of this establishment, made of bricks and wood as a kind of half-timbering, is very warm. The small terrace on the pedestrian street is also very pleasant. La Gabelle offers pizzas, cheese soup, gizzard salad, salmon lasagna, fresh pasta, with a choice of about fifteen side sauces, natural rib steak, herb escalope, tender breast, gambas and squid.... For dessert, there's nothing to stop you from falling for seasonal pies, profiteroles or chocolate cake. The pizzas, 100% homemade, classic frutti di mare or vesuvio, are hearty and excellent! Everything is cooked with simplicity, but with a certain quality, and the portions are more than generous.
