Balade pédestre au cœur de la Ville médiévale à Auch
At the departure of the tourist office, this 3 kilometre walk invites you to discover the medieval city of Auch and its rich architectural heritage. St. Mary's Cathedral is your first step; if the heart tells you, enter it. Then head gradually to the Napoleon column, Salinis Square and Armagnac Tower. This 40-metre tall building was built in the th century to serve as a prison. Continue your journey through the door of Arton via the monumental staircase: the latter links the historic city and the new city since 1853. After a passage through the pousterles, these steep medieval lanes, you will reach the square of the Carmelite and the place Saluste-du-Bartas, the final point of the journey.
