FEDEL HOUSE
This listed house, located just a stone's throw from the cathedral, is admired by all visitors
Listed as a historic monument, this half-timbered house near the cathedral is admired by all visitors. Built in 1450, it takes its name from the store it housed on the first floor in the last century. Its three-storey half-timbering stands plumb on a limestone base. The brickwork between the half-timbering forms a herringbone pattern, and some of the windows still display their colored panes. The Maison Fedel is the finest example of medieval housing in the heart of Auch.
