CHÂTEAU LA GRAVE BÉCHADE
An estate with a castle where hazelnuts are grown to make chocolate products.
Since 2015, the estate has been owned by the Burrus family, chocolate merchants and owners of the Alsatian "Schaal" chocolate factory, as well as the "Marquise de Sévigné" and "Yves Thuries" brands. The former vineyard has been replaced by a 400-hectare orchard planted with hazelnuts. The hazelnuts produced are used to make chocolate products, the flavours of which can be discovered, for example, during a tasting session after a visit to the casserierie and in the boutique. The château, set in the heart of nature, can be rented out for receptions.
