LABARTHE'S MILL
The mill of Labarthe is, with the church of the town centre, one of the oldest buildings in the town of Fleurance. A few feet away from the Gers, a water mill built in 1319 at the instigation of Guillaume de Savignac, whose family bears the title of «lord de Labarthe» from 1392. With contemporary times, it is abandonment and ruin, but fortunately for this site, the Same come from Afar, interest it, buy it, settle it and restore it… An epic not without disappointment, since floods are not uncommon, sometimes causing considerable damage. In 2013-2014, it was the death of 13 sheep, the collapse of a wall, the étouffement of trees, the decimation of the garden and a terrace… But their two houses of France are still there!
