A hall resting on sixty pillars around which Fleurance's Tuesday and Saturday morning markets are held.
The market hall is the epicenter of the Gascon bastide. Fleurance's was destroyed by fire in 1833. It stood on 24 wooden pillars, supporting the consular house in the center. Auscitain architect Ardenne was chosen to rebuild a covered market at the end of the 19th century. He proposed to install the town hall upstairs, while respecting the original medieval principle: maximum space with minimum footprint. The hall now rests on 60 stone pillars around which Tuesday and Saturday markets are held.
