Gimont is home to all the products that have made the Ducs de Gascogne, founded in 1953, so famous. In 2017, the "pope of foie gras" sold his company to the Jollivets, who in turn sold it to the QuaTerra group in 2023. Local duck is still king, with semi-cooked or canned foie gras, pretty and tasty duck breasts, and cooked dishes such as garbure, cassoulet or confit... Les Ducs de Gascogne also offer gourmet aperitif boxes. And let's face it, you can also enjoy these fine products at the Cave Opéra Vinalis in Gimont.
