Set in a 110-hectare natural area crossed by the River Adour, this garden is the ideal place to spend a lovely day with the family
Located in a 110-hectare natural area crossed by the River Adour, the Artpiculture garden is cultivated in harmony with the surrounding nature, using agro-ecology. Come and explore the garden's interpretation trail with your family and discover how, on the scale of a garden, you can reproduce a form of agriculture based on biodiversity. If you follow the recommended itinerary, allow around 1 hour for a self-guided tour of the garden. But if you'd like to learn more about the garden's history, take advantage of guided tours during the summer months, punctuated by experiences and encounters. These last two hours, and you can also discover the educational apiary and meet the social bees (free workshop for adults and children aged 7 and over, see the agenda on the website). Continue your discovery of this peaceful and welcoming environment at the Maison de l'Eau, a resource center on water and its issues (open daily from 9am to 5pm). Then extend your day here, 100% nature and relaxation, with the chance to take part in the activities on the natural site: canoeing, mountain biking, observation walks on the Adour trail (topoguides available at reception), nature workshops... A picnic area is available on site (there are no garbage cans, so don't forget to take your garbage with you).
An ideal place to spend a pleasant day with the family, to raise environmental awareness among young and old, and to encourage everyone to live in harmony with nature.
