La Maison d'Aux is an exceptionally charming guest house, nestled in the heart of the wonderful medieval village of La Romieu.
Hervé and Martin had a real crush on this 18th century house. Rich in history, it was built by the descendants, hopefully indirect, of the Cardinal d'Aux, the founder of the collegiate church. There is no doubt that you will also succumb to its charm. The two rooms overlook the garden and are preceded by a lounge installed under the colonnade. We love the room in the vestibule with its antique checkerboard tiles and its ceiling with exposed beams. A beautiful swimming pool, all in length, awaits you for a refreshing swim.

Outstanding place to stay. Hosts and amenities are first rate and staying here is/will be worth every cent!! Breakfast was amazing, as was the pool.
