Since 2011, the association la Main Harmonique, under the direction of Frédéric Bétous, offers "Musique en chemin". This itinerant festival located in the north of the Gers offers the public the opportunity to meet the classical music of the Middle Ages, the polyphonies of the Renaissance and the baroque music. The concerts allow the public to discover or deepen their knowledge of these musics often ignored in the magnificent Collegiate Church classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lectures are also organised, led by the artists who come to meet their audience. This quality programming has become synonymous with excellence where young musicians and renowned artists come together in a festive and relaxed atmosphere: a mix that has built the success of Musique en chemin! In addition to these three days of concerts and festivities at La Romieu, in July, a whole season of concerts along the Way of St. James: an opportunity to discover remarkable and... enchanted sites.
