FORTIFIED VILLAGE OF LARRESSINGLE
A village "preserved from the wars", with houses leaning against the ramparts, with a tower in the center of the village, ...
Preserved from the wars that took place in the region, the village was magnificently restored in the 1950s. After crossing the bridge over the moat, the village reveals itself as it was in the 16th century. The houses backing onto the ramparts have been converted into stores. At the center of the village stands the tower of the austere 13th-century château. In its shadow, a charming 12th-century Romanesque fortified church is well worth a visit.
