OFFICE DU TOURISME
Tourist office organising visits to discover the historical and architectural heritage in the commune of Lavardens.
Lavardens is a growing village, with its population (378 inhabitants at the last census) increasing since 1982. This is due to the arrival of new families and the efficiency of local authorities, including the tourist office, which is doing an enormous job in promoting the image of the village. If you visit the team of the office, they will give you information about the breeders, the wine growers who welcome tourists on their domains for visits. The historical and architectural heritage is also very important and highlighted by the tourist office, including the castle of Lavardens. By strolling in the narrow carrelots, you will discover the remains of the ramparts and the quadrangular towers of the enclosure which are perfectly maintained thanks to the castle safeguarding association which restores the building and manages the reception and the various art exhibitions and exhibitions throughout the year. The other strong times of the village are the Music Festival, the small night markets in July and August, and the Christmas market.
