The Centre d'art et de photographie de Lectoure is the only contemporary art center in the Gers, and one of seven dedicated to photography in France. It organizes free exhibitions, monographic or collective, and welcomes artists in residence. Very dynamic, the center is at the origin of a formidable festival: the Photographic Summer, on the occasion of which the works of contemporary artists, photographers, visual artists invest several emblematic places of Lectoure.

Amis de la photographie, passez votre chemin ! L’été « photographique » de Lectoure devrait changer de nom et assumer clairement ses choix et son passage à l’art contemporain !
Venant deToulouse depuis plusieurs années, j’ai le regret de dire qu’on me m’y reprendra plus ! Un ramassis hétéroclite d’objets, des spots lumineux et des boulettes de papier géantes… Je laisse ça aux amateurs « éclairés » et je regrette amèrement mes 6€ !
