Stop at the Mirail estate, near Lectoure: you will wake up your taste buds in a sumptuous setting. As part of what is known as "French Tuscany", the estate enjoys excellent weather conditions to produce quality wines. Renowned for their aromatic and gustatory qualities, the wines of Charles Hochman and his son Charles-Antoine have won numerous awards, including five gold medals at the Concours général agricole de Paris. They are certified "organic farming": it is a farm with a future. The Hochmans bought the estate in the 1990s and revived the wine business. The 30 hectares of vines were abandoned, while traces of this cultivation can be found in the 15th century. Passion and work have done their work and now the estate offers a wide range of all colours: white, pink and red. If you do not have the opportunity to visit the estate, you can taste it at the local restaurants.
