If you visit l'Isle-Jourdain without stopping at its bell museum, you risk having your bells rung!
The former grain market is home to the Musée d'art campanaire. The collection includes over a thousand sound objects from all over the world, including the "Carillon de la Bastille", the museum's flagship object. This is the bell from the former Parisian prison, which was narrowly saved during the early days of the French Revolution in 1789. You'll discover the manufacture and evolution of other bells, bells, bells and drums during your visit.

Musée très intéressant. Guide qui connait son sujet. Température du site un peu fraîche, gardez vos manteaux

On y trouve un large éventail d'informations sur les cloches.
On déambule librement sur 2 étages, on a la possibilité d' actionner certaines cloches en exposition.
Petit bémol les explications autour du thème se trouve sur un folio et la manipulation à plusieurs n'est pas forcément pratique.
