Museum housing a collection of documents and reproductions of various works of art

The most illustrious of Gascons, aka Charles de Batz de Castelmore, is better known as d'Artagnan. In Lupiac, the village of his birth, discover the true life of this emblematic character who left his family in 1613 to become captain of King Louis XIV's Musketeers. A collection of documents and reproductions of various works of art reveal the reality of the character made famous by Alexandre Dumas. An audio and visual tour, as well as a video, reveal d'Artagnan's life at court and in war, alongside that of the novel.

accueil super sympa, on débute par l'histoire romancée de D'Artagnan pour terminer par sa vraie vie.
Un pur bonheur avec de très beaux costumes, de très beaux tableaux, de très belles pièces dont un petit film

Accueil particulièrement agréable et sympathique. La vidéo de présentation de d’Artagnan est de qualité. L’exposition est agrémentée de costumes magnifiques, d’objet à la fois insolites et historiques. Un beau parcours à la suite des mousquetaires. A faire absolument si vous passez à Lupiac.
