DOMAINE CAPMARTIN - LE COUVENT DE MAUMUSSON
Domaine Capmartin is the work of Guy Capmartin who took over the domain in 1986. Party with 1,5 hectares it gradually expanded to the 18 hectares of today. The last innovation of this passion is a conversion to organic farming in 2010. A new challenge that bears fruit with in 2011, the production of its first vintage certified AB. The 2014 vintage was thus entirely biological and in 2015 it was pacherenc-vic-bilh that was certified. The strategic situation of these vines allows it to take advantage of the names Madiran, Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh and the IGP Côte de Biscay, the latter in white and red. so many prestigious names added to the quality of these wines. The vintages, often applauded by critics, have been awarded several times in the various specialist guides and magazines, as well as at the Decanter World Wine Awards or the Old vines in Bordeaux… so many well deserved rewards for big vintages! Few bottles but a wide range of wines: this area deserves to be known.
