This European Institute of Tibetan Buddhism was founded 40 years ago by Khenchen Sherab Gyaltsen Amipa Rinpoche, one of the first five lamas appointed in 1968 by His Holiness the Dalai Lama in Europe to establish the "Tibet Institute" for Tibetan refugees. This association offers monthly teaching sessions and week-long retreats throughout the year. But also weekly activities to approach the foundations of Buddhism, study and practice meditation, and talks and debates for groups on request.
