Not only is the village a lovely place to visit, but it also hides some wonderful surprises. If you walk along the north side of the ramparts, you'll come to an imposing rectangular washhouse dating from 1856. It's part of a well-preserved ensemble that includes cattle troughs and a monumental fountain dating from 1819. You can imagine the washerwomen beating the linen, the cows making their voices and bells heard, and the peasants greeting each other in Occitan.
