AMAP LA BATAILLOUSE
AMAPs (Associations Pour le Maintien d'une Agriculture Paysanne) are associations that advocate a local partnership between a group of consumers and one or more local farms to develop environmentally friendly, sustainable and local agriculture. The Bataillouse is an AMAP located in Pavia. Catherine and Yves Lacaze are the vegetable producers. Their property is located in Sadeillan. An AMAP season lasts 42 weeks, spread over the 12 months of the year. Distributions are interrupted for eight weeks, in March-April, depending on the growth of the vegetables; they are resumed during September. There are three weekly distribution locations, depending on where you live: one in Pavie (multipurpose room) on Friday from 7 to 7:30 p.m.; one in Sadeillan at Cathy Lacaze's on Monday evening; a basket drop-off in Mirande on Friday at the "stationery and service office" stationery store near the Intermarché. AMAP la Bataillouse is part of the AMAP Midi-Pyrénées Network.
