Located in Pessan on the edge of the departmental road, you can't miss the Carpe Diem. Welcomed by the new manager and Benjamin in the dining room - these two know how to put you at ease instantly -, you have the choice of settling wherever you like: either near a radiator in winter, where green plants and orchids rub shoulders with paintings with comforting notes, or on the terrace (heated in winter) with its colourful and playful decoration with its period street lamps and its warmly coloured cushions on the wooden benches. In the evening, you will appreciate the menu of classic cocktails: mojito, piña colada, and (a) typical: the Carpe Diem (secret recipe), or the Café Gascon, a Gers variant of the Irish Coffee based on Armagnac. As for the dishes, you will taste local seasonal products, such as the Gers farm chicken, produced organically in Cabas-Loumasses (producers' menu available to customers), and its juice accompanied by seasonal vegetables: parsnip purée and sweet potato; as well as original dishes both in presentation and in the marriage of flavours: fishcakes with matcha tartar and slices of black radish in pickles, for example.
