SALON DES MÉTIERS D'ART

Organized every year in May, this exhibition brings together thirty artisans who invest Plaisance to present their creations. Over time, it has become a real festive meeting that goes beyond its primary vocation! Glass blowers, ferrers and blacksmiths, leather cutters, ceramists, sculptors, potters, stone cutters, designer clothing, jewelry and other wood-based tours await you. The great interest of this living room lies in this great diversity that ensures great encounters with the creators and their works. The event is accompanied by pedagogical and playful workshops (plastic arts, travel books, calligraphy, etc.) and, in the storefronts of the merchants, exhibitions of the creations of the pupils of the drawing school reinvent the city. All around the rooms dedicated to the living room, you will find animations, meals and concerts, including a concert of organ at the church of Fleurance. Films on the art crafts theme complement this celebration, which will also allow you to acquire unique works.
