Typical Alsatian house, home to rich collections presented in an extremely entertaining way
At the Centre d'Interprétation du Patrimoine (Heritage Interpretation Center), you'll discover how rural life used to be in Northern Alsace! The rich collections are presented in a playful way, and you'll discover the traditions of yesteryear through objects and scenes set in a typical Alsatian house. From daily life to the trades of yesteryear, you're invited to take a trip back in time. The Maison Rurale regularly organizes themed events and exhibitions.

Opening time and information on MAISON RURALE DE L'OUTRE-FORÊT
Closed on December 25th and in January. Low season: open on Wednesday and Thursday from 11am to 5pm; weekends and public holidays from 2pm to 6pm. High season: Tuesday to Sunday and public holidays from 11am to 6pm. Free for children under 6 years old. Adults: 6 €. Children (from 6 to 18 years old): 4 €. Family pass and annual subscription 14€ School group 4€ per child, adult group 5€ per person free visit, 5,5€ guided visit. Guided tour. Catering (cafeteria during opening hours, pastries on Sundays, catering according to programme).

The Maison rurale de l'Outre-Forêt is a heritage interpretation center located in Kutzenhausen. It invites you to discover a heritage and a territory through the various collections on display. You'll find illustrations of rural life in the first half of the 20th century. You can also take part in events, workshops and exhibitions. The aim of this interactive space is to encourage people to protect their heritage and pass it on to others, to encourage them to take ownership of their heritage, to encourage them to learn, to deepen their knowledge, to enhance the value of their heritage and to contribute to local development. Visite très intéressante !
A conseiller!!!
Les personnes, la plus part des bénévoles, font un travail super. Que se sont dans l'entretien ou en visite. Je ne peut que conseiller d'y faire un arrêt et de faire un "retour dans le passé"
