KINGDOM'S HOUSE
The presence in these walls of Henri IV, Louis III and Louis XIV explains the name given to this superb residence of the spa town.
This beautiful house houses the Tourist Office, an exhibition room and the premises of the association "Les Amis de Casteljaloux", dedicated to the transmission and promotion of the town's history. Built in the 16th century, it once belonged to the Albret family of Henri de Navarre, future King of France Henri IV, hence its name. Louis III and Louis XIV stayed here, as did the poet Agrippa d'Aubigné. Our friendly hostesses will give you all the information you need to enjoy the best of Gascony.
