From stable to table! On the outskirts of Casteljaloux, on the Route du Lac, you'll have no trouble spotting this renowned butcher's shop thanks to the life-size red resin bull enthroned on the sidewalk in front of the sign. Here, Laurent Groussin, an excellent farmer-butcher, and his team officiate. Here's a good place in town to find the owner's home-grown Bazadais beef and a host of other fine meats, poultry and cooked dishes. Every year in early February, the house proudly takes part in the Fête des Bœufs Gras de Bazas.
