LAC DE LA GIMONE

Welcome to the largest lake in Gers: with its 250 hectares and its 6 km long, shared with the Upper Garonne, it is a haven of peace and relaxation. Panoramas on the Pyrenees, green landscapes, views of the gersois valleys and the castle of Saint-Blancard. Walking is a real treat. The premises are designed for visitors, including dozens of light-flooded légères on the right bank in Lunax, but also with recreational sports equipment and golf courses for a breath of oxygen. You can reach the lake also by the left bank, from Saint-Blancard, on a causeway road like a secluded journey and disconnected from everyday life: It is possible to take the ferry and cross the water to Lunax, but also to enjoy the oisivement of a fine sandy beach.
