LE CASTET

The main feature of the site is its crue wall (unique in Europe!), which has earned it a historic monument recently. But this material is very fragile in the face of the weather - and in the face of the écoulement of Latrines, used several centuries during… In 2016, the local populations redouble their zeal to restore the site (patrons are always welcome!), which starts timidly. The Castet is in reality a feudal motte, a bastion of the Middle Ages, a manor house, a pigeon house and a rebuilt monumental door in the th century. A little further, the church Saint-Pierre, rebuilt in the second half of the th century, still features elements of the eleventh century! A place of atypical memory, which doesn't look like anything you've seen until then.
