Church dedicated to a bishop of Avignon, having undergone many transformations since the Middle Ages in Sauveterre
This church, dedicated to a bishop of Avignon who was martyred during the Vandal invasion in the5th century, may have served as a chapel in the castle. The parish was attached to the diocese of Lombez in 1317. The building, which has undergone numerous transformations since the Middle Ages, houses a remarkable lead baptismal font decorated with a procession of monks under Gothic arcades (14th century). Its sacristy has kept its 16th century ribbed vault. Its three-storey wall bell tower pierced with 5 round bays, whose door lintel dates from 1834.
