THE PIGEON LOFT OF THE BARNACLE
One of the most photographed dovecotes in the Gers, visible from the departmental road at Seissan.
With its chapel-like appearance, this dovecote is one of the most photographed in the Gers. Its brick base and its half-timbered turret made of unbaked clay form a beautiful example of architecture from the second half of the 19th century. Located on a private property, the dovecote cannot be visited. However, it is clearly visible from the road. It has been carefully restored, as has the barn to which it is attached.
