MUSÉE PAYSAN D'ÉMILE
Museum housing a fine collection of objects from the world of early 20th-century Gascony farmers
Throughout his life, Emile Castex gathered a beautiful collection of objects, furniture, clothes, tools, utensils and dishes from the world of the Gascon peasant of the beginning of the 20th century. This astonishing collection has been on display since 1990 in a house in the village. Authenticity reigns there, up to the explanatory notes written with the hand, with full and untied. The objects are full of nostalgia, like the old-fashioned bathroom, the very first pressure cooker, the clothes of the past, which will awaken memories for some.
