One of the finest examples of Gascon military architecture in Termes-d'Armagnac.

Classified as a historic monument, this is the only vestige of the château built by Thibaut de Termes, Joan of Arc's comrade-in-arms, and a true gem of Gascon military architecture. With soundtrack commentary, climb the 150 steps of the spiral staircase and step back in time 700 years: armory, seigniorial bedroom, reconstructed reception room, wax figures... At the top of the keep, 36 meters up, a sublime view awaits you. In summer, enjoy entertainment and a grand medieval show.

Says open every day after 2.30pm. We arrived at 3pm 20.12.2023 to find it closed. Missed out after quite a long drive just to see it.
