CHANTA L'OSIER

This boutique showcases one of the world's oldest crafts and an art form that has survived the test of time: basketry. Basketry is the art of making woven objects from plant stems and fibers. The craftsman in this workshop is particularly interested in wicker grown in France. He plays with the colors of the different willow species and handcrafts his pieces. In addition to wicker, she makes her creations from rattan. Equipped with these tools, she creates a fine range of decorative and utilitarian objects. To pass on her passion to as many people as possible, the artist takes the time to show visitors around her workshop and present her craft.
