Church with a beautiful altarpiece dedicated to the Glory of Saint John the Baptist in Valence-sur-Baïse
Harmonious and well-balanced, admired for its turrets and high façade, the Saint-Jean-Baptiste church casts its shadow over the Place de l'Hôtel-de-Ville. After a period of neglect, the church underwent major restoration work in the 19th century. A beautiful 18th-century altarpiece dedicated to the Glory of Saint John the Baptist can be admired in the nave. Sixty steps lead up to a belvedere linking the two towers.
