LE MALOYA "TI KAZ KRÉOL"
Food-truck proposing Creole tapas and various specialities of the Reunion Island.
This unique place, as pleasant inside with its air-conditioned room as outside with its shaded terrace, is at the same time a bistro-brasserie, a wine and tapas bar. Eric Castay, who has the bistro in the blood, managed to create an atmosphere in the image of his wines, beers and other delights, solid and liquid! In this address with unequalled conviviality, bringing together young people and less young people in a cosy decor, the products of the terroir are favoured with the must-eat duck breast, Gascon salad or the Gascon pastis. As for the brasserie, a T-bone steak or a calf's kidney with shallot flambéed with porto will delight your eyes and your tastebuds. A choice of cold and hot tapas with the crucial dish of ham of mountain's sow, will enable you to taste noble products while enjoying a glass of good wine! As for sweet ones, try a tiramisu or a brioche French toast accompanied by its scoop of ice-cream. Here, it's clear that the authenticity and the terroir are the key words with a distinctive feature of "the dish around the drink and the drink around the dish", concludes Eric Castay. A good way to honour the region!
